Launched in 2005, the WCG Samsung Euro Championship (SEC) has been staged during the popular electronics show CeBIT in Hannover, Germany. Top European gamers battle it out while attracting enthusiastic. This year, more than 230 players from 26 countries participated in WCG 2007 SEC while 200,000 spectators visited to watch the exciting matches.
After a very successful WCG 2005 Grand Final and the first WCG Asian Championship in 2006, Singapore once again hosted the WCG Asian Championships from August 2nd - 5th in Suntec City, Singapore. 120 players from 12 countries participated in 5 official titles. Each country held qualifing rounds for the WCG Asian Championships, with the best gamers getting tickets to Singapore where they competed for the title of Asian Champions. Over 45 thousands spectators visited WCG2007 Asian Championship.
WCG Pan-American Championship is the only all-star eSport event held in the Americas. Only the best gamers were invited to this prestigious event. This year, WCG 2007 Pan-American Championship was held at the Cancun Center in Cancun Mexico from June 22nd - 24th. 80 players from 9 countries in the Americas gathered in Cancun representing their countries in 6 PC titles and 2 console(Xbox 360) titles.
